I thought this guy was an elite back. Is he just being under used or is has he turned into a poor RB?

Believe it or not he lost his hunger and stop working hard like he did about 5 years ago....

It all started when the Bills drafted McGahee first round in 2003. He felt disrespected and unappreciated when they did that. He felt that the Bills coaches and GM's were trying to tell him something, and his attitude started to shift from positive to negative. I think he just plain ole' got selfish with all that ME ME ME crap wanting the Bills to chose between him or Willis. They keep the right guy.

And now he's in a situation wanting to be traded again in Tennessee. Chris Brown is the #1 back there and he just hates being second fiddle. They drafted LenDale White and eventually he is going to move up the depth chart on him. So basically he's a jealous selfish man who has issues that he needs to work out within himself. He was like this even in college when he was playing for the Tennessee Volunteers having to share the load with Jamal Lewis, with him it's all or nothing.

When Travis Henry was good, Steve Fairchild was his runningback coach. When Donahoe fired Greg Williams and Fairchild left to be OC of the Rams, Henry tanked. And he's still tanked. Somehow, I don't think it's much of a coincidence...or that McGahee suddenly being a more decisive runner is either...

It's amazing how quickly most top running back fall. However, with all the pounding they take as their team relies heavily on their production, it's not too surprising. Players like Emmitt Smith, who played at a high level for such a long time, are rare. How long will it be before Shaun Alexander starts to wear down?
