If he is teething he made be experiencing some pain right now. Babies normally don't drink much when they are in pain or their ears are hurting them.
Pump some of your milk as well. Let it sit and see how much cream is forming on the top if it is very thin speak to the doctor.
Also, somethings that you eat can affect the flavor of the milk. If you are eating onions and garlic the milk will have that flavor and it may not be one that he likes.

Hi there, I don't know if this will really work for you seeing as he's only 4 months. I'm currently weaning my 7 1/2 month old (4 teeth lol) and he will not take milk anymore either and he used to take it no problem if he had to, so I put it in a blender with a banana and liquified it just to add a little flavour without making it any thicker, and slowly decrease the amount of banana, and its working. Like I said I don't know if your baby has had any food yet, when my guy was 3 months his doctor said he could have beginner foods, so that all depends on how you feel about that. You could also try a different formula, or get a faster flowing nipple, I had to poke the bottle nipples with a fork to make the hole bigger cuz the flow of them wasn't fast enough, he could even be out growing bottles, you can try one of the in between bottle-sippy cup type of cup, some babies just grow out of bottles early. Good luck! =]

Hey kelley, she did mention "breast" in her question.
Anyway miss... your son is teething, he won't want to drink milk from your breasts because it bothers his gums. If he's not acting ill or is not developing any kind of illness, like diarrhea then I wouldn't worry too much about it. He'll let you know if he's hungry.

Try not to worry, it is probably a short-term problem. A little orajel or infant tylenol may make your son more comfortable though.

You don't mean cow's milk I hope. As for formula, try small amounts often I guess.
