It can cause pressure to build, but it should not be harmful. I found out that excessive yawning may mean one's blood sugar is low, as yawning - like all exercise, helps get oxygen and blood sugar to the brain.

just yawn... it's a stretching exercise, brings blood to the surface, promotes circulation and releases endorphins.
it's not good to hold a yawn, but sooner or later it will prevail.

yawning is the brains way of resetting itself, and to give yourself an extra boost of oxygen...it may not be fatal, but you may feel more tired if you try to hold them in all the time.....BTW I've tried holding in a yawn and i find for myself it is impossible.

yes it is very dangerous it can cause spontaneous combustion.
Holding ur farts in also causes spontaneous combustion
If you hold these in it will cause pressure inside you and you'll explode
