i AM LOOKING FOR THE MOST HONEST ANSWER AS WELL AS THE BEST STORY, ESPECIALLY EMARASSING STORIES....EXAMPLE- (this happened to me) I bought a guitar in a famous music store in NYC in the 80's... Rock musician and guitar player Peter Frampton walks in the store- but all the drugs he did made him age 30 years in about 10 years - so I ddin't recognize him whatsoever- we chatted a few minutes...finally, I had to ask him flat out who he was and he got pissed off cause I bruise his fame ego. It was real emabrassing but in retrospect pretty darn funny... got any like that ? Let it lose here- should be pretty interesting.! PS... I can see through a BS story pretty good so don't bother.

In the late 80's I was on an airline flight from Pittsburgh to Newark and I look up and who is standing 3 feet away?......Joe DiMaggio!
I was like.......WOW!!

So I stuck out my hand and said hi......wow...I've always been an admirer or yours.....so he makes a gesture that he's got a raincoat on his arm and i put my hand down. I think to myself..."no problem...I understand...my bad". I guess I was excited to see him and never realized the coat. (Later I thought he used it as an excuse).

Later, during the flight (he was sitting directly behind me IN COACH ...(the cheapskate) and I once again said hi and offered my hand and he refused AGAIN!
Well...I was hurt and embarrassed.....This guy was like a god to Yankee fans and I guess I was always taught that ya NEVER refuse someones hand offered when it's offered in friendship.
But....someone on the plane later told me that he was REALLY an unsociable, unfriendly S.O.B. and to forget it
Later....he wouldn't shake anyone elses hand or sign any autographs either and I thought......"no wonder Marily Monroe left his crank asss".....hahaha

well......Rest in peace Joltin' Joe.... no hard feelings.

I live in Bend Oregon, Kurt Russell once played baseball here when I was 17 -18 years old, I met another member of the team quite by accident and he was sharing an apt with Kurt. I partied with him on more than one occasion. I remember the question today as well as then " have you ever been on a water bed?" I hadn't until that night. He is well endowed, but his ego was much bigger. I met his dad and I must say I liked him much better. Oh the name of the baseball team was called the Bend Rainbows.

When I lived in California, I worked at a Sav-a-lot store as a cashier.
There I met...
Victoria Principal
Gregory Harrison
Kirstie Alley
John Travolta
Tom Selleck
James Brolin
many others.

Also met and partied with the band Journey, my bf at the time promoted rock concerts, so we always went backstage for their shows.

I used to work at a hotel The Westin which happens to be high class and I've met all the NBA players which after a while was no big deal But when I heard Houston Rockets Yao Ming wanted room service I jumped on his order. When he answered the door in boxers I was up to his waist which means I was pretty much talking to his crotch.Another time after the whole Kobe incident I delivered room service up to his room 2 days in a row and got greeted by this lesbo body guard which was odd to me.(The list is loonggg so I'll narrow it down)I saw brittney spears come in at about 5AM looking trashy or maybe she was just tired from the long trip,I've met carlos mencia,50
cent, shakira, ozzy and family, the guys from west coast choppers
mdo,Aerosmith, motley crue(they trashed the room and threw chairs over the balcony and one of their roadies ran around the lobby drunk and naked),nelly, and my fav. The Scorpions. The lead singer wanted to do me bad!!I eeww he's about 60?And snoop dogs little crew and his uncle wanted my friends and I to hang out with them?I know what they were thinking "Girls Gone Wild"---------I don't think so.I passed up the offer.I loved working at the WESTIN.where else would you get to meet so may stars and see so much designer stuff and bling.I always looked forward to working the weekens because that's when the concerts go on and 95% of the time the superstars stayed with us.I got hooked up with tickets to concerts and games here and there but just meeting them was the bomb diggity.Oh and let me tell you heck yeah these players and singers do drugs and have affairs and order call girls and have orgies with groupies!!!I've seen it.

Actually, back in 1983, I lived outside of Orlando, fl. in a place called Clarcona and Michael Jackson landed in a hot air balloon in an open field (which was our back yard ). He stayed about 20 mins. talking and playing with my kids, waiting on the chase car to find where he had landed. He was very shy and didn't talk much but i remember wondering what was wrong with his skin....his face was peeling. The embarassing part of the whole thing is that we were in such shock, we didn't even go get the camera. that happened 2 weeks before the whole "glove-thing" began. So i thought that it was cool that i shook his hand before the glove became a big deal. but... now that i think about it...maybe i shouldn't have let him play with my kids !!

In summer 2005, I went to the premiere of the movie, Four Brothers in Cambridge, MA. I got to see all the main actors... Matt Wahlberg, Benjamin Andre, Tyrese Gibson, Fionnula Flanagan and a bunch of other celebrities. Tyrese wasn't as muscled up as he looked in 2Fast2 Furious. He also had the nerve to wear a YANKEES cap in Boston. I got Benjamin Andre's autograph. They were all really cool though.
