Sociology is the attempt to understand society. It is an effort of understanding social behavior, mass movements, the problems that arise out of cultural interchanges, the class struggle, social stratification, discrimination, the effect of the media and politicians on people, and many other phenomenas that occur in everyday life in different communities. It analyzes human groups as a whole instead on focusing on the isolated individual.
