You should try to find out what makes other people feel happy. If you find out what makes other people feel happy then maybe you might have common interests and can feel happy together. Maybe you are not actually selfish. Maybe you just know what you want and you want it now.

Try giving instead of taking. When you give some thing to some one he/she feels happy and that happiness is infectious. so an unselfish person is always happy and a selfish person is always afraid

Seek to help others. Find a worthy organization and donate time/money. Habitat for Humanity would be a good start.

give away all your worldly possessions to those who really need them and maybe volunteer your time somewhere and understand there are people who can benefit from your help.
