I put this on for every one who asks this.
Yes, you could be pregnant. (keyword: "could")
Anytime someone has sex--with or without protection--there is a possibility of pregnancy. Wait another week to see if your period starts--if it doesn't take a home pregnancy test. If it'll make you feel better schedule an appointment at your doctor's office.
Did you just use a condom or are you on birth control? Whether you are pregnant--or not--schedule an appointment and get on birth control. Best of Luck!

Well, um... anything's possible. However, the fact that you did have a period AFTER having sex makes this highly unlikely.
The fact that you got that period early suggests to me another possibility. Extremely... vigorous... sex can sometimes disrupt the normal functionings of the female reproductive system a bit.
Perhaps your periods are simply becoming less predictable. A lot of people have less than clockwork periods, and if one came a week early, I wouldn't worry too much about one coming two or three days later than usual. Maybe overall, they'll even out.
I'm guessing this means yours usually come every 28 days. Perhaps due to the sex, the one right after it came early, but this next one will stick with the old schedule, and will come about a week late, which would be 56 days after the period before you had sex, which would be the usual schedule.
Of course, condoms aren't 100% effective. There might have been a leak, or it might have slipped off when you didn't notice or something. If you're more than a month late... even if it does come that late... you should get yourself checked. At most this will leave you with three months since the sex, which should be plenty of time to do whatever you decide to do should the unplanned occur.

You could be pregnant; accidents happen and condoms aren't a guarentee against pregnancy. The best thing to do would be to purchase a home pregnancy test and check. You also might be able to get a free pregnancy test at your local planned pregnancy center. There are lots of reasons why a period might be late, or early - hormonal fluctuations, stress, poor diet, weight loss. If you are not on birth control, it's normal for your period to start a few days early or late.
On a side note: It doesn't matter how long sex lasts; there's always the chance for pregnancy. Condoms are very effective against pregnancy and STDs but they still break or malfunction sometimes.
If your period does not come at all, it would be a good idea to see your doctor. There are a few reasons why a period might not come.
I seriously doubt you are pregnant, but for your piece of mind, you should check and get it over with, or else you are going to continue to worry.
Hope this helps!

Well there is always the possibilty of being pregnant, but sometimes stress can make you miss your period, it happend to me last week. I would tell you wait a few days, if you still dont get your period, take a home preg test, and if that shows negative and you still dont get your period in a week, you should go to the doc and get a blood test. And dont stress out about being pregnant this could stop your period from starting.
For me it was stress and i had gotten my period 4 days late.
Hope this helps.

Well, you COULD be pregnant but the odds are that you're just so stressed that it's making you late. .. or, since you were a week early last time, maybe it'll come a week late this time to "normalize" again.
If you still have no period in like a week, get one of those home pregnancy tests. And if you are pregnant and don't want it, I know a lovely family that would love to adopt a baby!

Go get a pregnancy test kit at a pharmacy to find out for sure, but if you had an irregularly timed period, it could mean that your next one is irregular too. Anyhow, condoms really aren't that great for birth control, the pregnancy rate with condom use is 14%- if you plan on having intercourse regularly, I suggest a more effective method such as the pill (5% preggo rate) the patch (1% rate) Depo-Provera (hormone shot, 0.3%) NuvaRing( vaginal ring, 1.2%).

If could be. The pregnancy hormone may not have been high enough in your body to stop your period right after you had sex. If you don't get your period in another week, it's time to take a pregnancy test. If the test comes our negative, wait another week or so and it still nothing, it's time to go to the doctor.

It could just be a late period. But I would get a pregnancy test just in case - you can still have spotting for the first few months you're pregnant.

It could be that you are stressing yourself out about it and making yourself late. Wait a few days and then take a test if you still think you are pregnant.
