if i travelled faster than the speed of light would time slow down? is it because if i arrive before the light that i am made of arrives i would be invisible?

if you traveled faster than the speed of light your mass would expand into nothing and you wouldn't exist, well at least not exist in tact anymore. so yes you would be invisible to the naked eye. and if you traveled faster than the speed of light time would appear to be going backwards to you.

First off you cant go the speed of light. As you reach the speed of light time does slow down for the person going the speed. I am going to save you the short hand work since it would be a bit of a work for me now and I would assume pointless seeing as you are asking the question in the first place. But another factor in this question is that as your speed gets closer and closer to the speed of light your mass expands at exponential rates taking more and more energry to move you. eventualy it would take an infinate amount of energy to build enough force to give you the acceloration as stated in newtons Fnet=MA. E=MC^2 is why your mass increases. you can try to manipulate all you want in quantum but how bout this...yes if you were going faster than the speed of light someone behind you couldnt see you since it would have a forward momentum faster than its stretch back and you wouldnt exhist!

according to laws of theoretical physics any matter that reaches the speed of light, would be converted to energy. Also as you approached to the speed of light, time from your view would seem to slow down.

You would be invisible yes...
