I have 2 questions. I am 4 months pregnant and I have been feeling short of breath lately, or like I cant catch my breath. It's when I am doing the simplest things, like walking. Is this normal?

and also, I've been noticing some pressure in my abdomin. It dosnt really hurt, its just very uncomfortable. Has anyone else had this?

yes, it's completely normal. Your body is adjusting to changes right now, you may feel shortness of breath and pressure in your belly as well. It is normal. You may also be anxious and that could cause you to lose your breath. But if you feel like it is too much of a problem go to the E.R. or see your doctor, and ask them and see if there is anything you can do or they can do for you to help you be more comfortable. Good luck and Congrats.

Shortness of breath is defiantly a part of being pregnant. Pressure is very normal too. You have to realize things are moving around in there to make room for the baby. My mom bought me a pregnancy organizer and it has every thing in it. It tells you every thing from what to expect each week and what to buy. It also has prenatal visits in it so you know what to expect at each one and places to fill in what the doc tells you. It has a calender in it too. Honestly this is my first pregnancy and I don't know what I would have done with out this book. Its called "the mother of all pregnancy organizers" Its great and as I said its getting me though this.

Both are normal symptoms of your changing body. Mention them at your next visit to set your mind at ease.

Yes, I had both. Most likely everything is fine, but if it persists, Id let your doctor know.

If you're having any trouble in your pregnancy, you really should be asking your doctor not asking strangers on yahoo. We're not doctors. I think it's time you call yours.
