OK, when you are at the desktop, you right click, go to properties, and go to the desktop tab. There is a list of wallpapers here, right.
what folder do i go to on my harddrive to remove some of these?
i found it before but just dont feel like searching. thanks!

I found them once, but I forget where they are exactly... But finding these pictures is easy:
Click on "Start" and do a search for all .jpg files in your computer (same directory in which your Windows is installed). Your search will yield all wallpaper options and tell you in which folder they are in.

Actually those pictures can get loaded from a few locations as follows.
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Pictures\Sample Pictures
- C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Pictures
- C:\WINDOWS
- C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper

they can be located in the pictures folder of my documents

if you placed the pictures then it is possible it is looking under My Documents\My Pictures

it's c/windows. i believe they're in the main directory. there's a lot of stuff in there, why don't you just leave them?
