"Want to join me laughing at some bad dancers? This should be hilarious."
"Can you help me out? I want to make some chaperone's nervous at the dance."
"Got a camera on your cellphone? Let's get some blackmail shots for the future."
"My ex is in the band, do you know how to dance dirty?"
"Let's make like Carrie and burn up the dance floor."
You decide of they are good, at least they are original!

Don't try to be tooooo original - it looks phony and you will sound "prepared". Just come up and say something like "Do you want to dance with me?", "Wanna go to the dance floor?", or something like that. What you say is not that important - it's how you say it. Be approachable (yes, even when you approach first), and friendly. Look in the eyes and you're set :)

In England they use the expression "a shake of the pants". Cute and to the point!
