I am having cramping slight back ache here and there and very painful pelvic pressure off and on. I lost my mucus plug two days ago and I am about 2 cm dialated. What could this be causing painful pressure?

It sounds like your having contractions. How far apart are the pelvic pains? You should time them and then call your doctor or advice nurse. Good luck

You're very much like me!! I lost my plug at 35 weeks (I'm 36 weeks now) I alaso am 2 centimeters dialted and have painful pressure, if the pressure is in between your hips, it's normal it's just the ligaments stretching because baby is preparing his way for birth, thats all. If you thinks it's more serious contact your doctor or go to the hospitial. I asked my doctor if it was normal for it to be so painful he said yes.

If the cramping/pressure is comming in waves you need to time it, they may be contractions. I lost my plug the day I had my youngest son and thought I was just achy from being checked the day before.....time them, once they hit about 15 mins apart, you need to call your doctor and get to a hospital...good luck

You may be having some contractions. They may be Braxton-Hicks or the beginning of the real thing. Time them and go in if they continue to get stronger and closer together.

You could be having back labor. But don't get to anxious. The baby will come when he/she is ready to.
