Yes, they did release him because they couldn't reach some contract terms. He was suppose to be back soon but now he went far in the bottomless pit to bad since it would have been nice to see him scaring Friday nights.

They released him 'cause he was still recovering from the leg injuries, and wasn't showing up to the rehab sessions they had scheduled for him. They didn't think he was dedicated to recovering from the injuries, so they released him.

Yes, they had been advertising his return, and the next thing we hear, he's been released! I hope they give us a little explanation about what happened. My grandson loved him!
