Well I'm sure s/he's kicking him/herself, but then again a book's success is largely in the marketing. Perhaps that publisher really was not the right one to market it, didn't have the right contacts &/or media outlets, etc. It may not have reached the same heights with a different publisher.

The same way the 120 or so people feel that turned down Colonel Sanders; like losers. But nowhere even near as bad as the people are going to feel that turned me down.
