The first publisher Rowling sent Harry Potter too turned it down- how do you think the guy feels?

Well I'm sure s/he's kicking him/herself, but then again a book's success is largely in the marketing. Perhaps that publisher really was not the right one to market it, didn't have the right contacts &/or media outlets, etc. It may not have reached the same heights with a different publisher.

The same way the 120 or so people feel that turned down Colonel Sanders; like losers. But nowhere even near as bad as the people are going to feel that turned me down.

Likely just as crappy as the 32 publishers that turned down "The Cat in the Hat," by Dr.Suess.

really stupid...lol..harry potter has grown into such a popular series and that publisher could've made a lot of money with it...ha too bad for him...I LOVE HARRY POTTER!
