If its a ford check the fuel shut off switch. its a common thing in some fords, as my ranger did this often. but with the limited information you have provided its hard to say. try asking next time and giving some more information. Like make, model, year and when its doing it. also, you truck dieing, shutting off, flooding out, are all differnt things. be specific.
for a quick check list i'd start by
1. check the fuel shut off switch
2. replace the fuel filter
3, replace the coil wire (the spark plug wire that doesn't go to the spark plug
4. replace cap and rotor (what the cords plug into)
5. if a check engine light is on, go to autozone, they check that for free!!
6. check the suction on the vacuum lines. vacuum leaks suck, and can cause all sorts of stupid failures.
7. come back here and ask with more description. good luck friend, I hope it all works out.

I suspect you are using the key to turn it off and back on every once in a while.
Why would you want it to run 24/7 anyway?
