Hi, I am supposed to make a political cartoon making fun of U.S. goverment. (Not just Bush....the whole goverment .) Any ideas?
It would be great if it is involving a current event or something that is still happening.
Also some political cartoon websites can help give me some topics.
Thanks to all!

if you go to the yahoo news homep[age, you'll see a little bar for comics. There's political cartoons on there as well towards the bottom! The best recent one I've seen is Pope Bennie and the Shrub planning a crusade. ewwwww.

Well the obvious would be to base it on the fact that Bush is a completely brainless imbecile and that he is being totally manipulated by a higher power to do things he has no clue as to the consequences which are far above he weak non-existent intellect. He was only ever chosen to be a candidate because he had the backing of the people with the real power who prefer to remain faceless because they new how easy it would be for them to manipulate and make him dance to their tune. They nearly failed to get him in the 1st time and demanded the vote in Florida be recounted and some say they rigged the vote for the 2nd time.

But maybe it is all hearsay and someone else is to blame.

Did you want to make fun of all government everywhere or the concept of government itself...? Are you an anarchist...? Please don't mock the government. I know, it's in style these days and everybody's taking cheap shots at the president. But we have enough enemies overseas these days whoare doing that, and we shouldn't encourage them. You never know who might take it as some kind of confirmation that they should do something violent.

Just because Congress has not officially declared war, does not mean that supporting and encouraging the enemy emotionally is not as bad as supporting them financially or militarily. Both of those are treason.

Why not make a cartoon making fun of some other government...? Look at Hugo Chavez, he comes to the UN with a head cold and asks if anybody can smell the sulfur. Look at the guy from iran, he says, "If you accuse muslims of being violent one more time, I'll kill you!"

Don't just express the popular opinion. Express your OWN opinion! Have fun!
