What most people do not realize is that the Iranians have many reasons to dislike & mistrust the U.S.
Go back to 1954 when the US overthrew the democratically elected gov't of Iran and put the Shah on the throne. He set up a Secret Police that was worse than the KGB or Gestapo. The Iranian were so repressed, that when the Shah went to the US for Cancer treatment, It opened the door for the Ayatollah to take power. The Iranians wanted the shah returned to stand trial, for crimes against humanity but the US refused, and the embassy hostage situation resulted. At the time it was considered horrendeous, but compared to Gitmo and other prisons maintained by the US today, it was not that bad.
Then the Iraq/Iran war broke out. The US & UK supplied saddam with poisonious gas to use against Iranians,(Contrary to the Geneva conventions).Saddam used some against the Kurs earning a severe tsk, tsk, from the US. The US also supplied conventional weapons to Iraq. At the time in the US I saw "Buy Iraqi Warbonds" bumper stickers on cars.
I fully believe Iran wants nuclear power for peaceful purposes However I wouldn't blame them if they wanted a weapon also. Israel , who has them & the US have never shown any friendship toward Iran In fact the Zionist believe Israel should extend to the Euphrates River in Iraq

Ask yourself, who owns the media? Do they have an interest in attacking Iran--to sell more weapons, get more oil, get more defense contracts? Will the media do what their masters want?
