I guess it would depend on how far to the left the Liberal is and how far to the right the Conservative is. There are degrees of Liberalism and Conservative-ism. But, maybe, if both sides were willing to cooperate.....take a few ideas from the left and a few ideas from the right to combine and solve a problem....maybe it will work. It could work that way in politics, too, if both sides would let it.

Yes it is very possible if you dont have one that is some hard headed *** who cannot listen to the others opinion. It is all about listening and respect for the others opinion. Once those to things happen anyone can get along happily. I have 2 friends who are very conservative and I am a moderate Dem and we get along fine because we can respect each other.

I know a happily married couple, been married many years. He is a screaming liberal and she is a total conservative. They seem to enjoy the political arguements very much. Guess it must be possible.

Apparently they can even get married...just look at James Carvel and Mary Matalin...two of the most opposite people in the world on the political spectrum, but by all accounts, very happily married.

Yeah, I think it's possible. Think about it, you may not agree on anything, but chances are that the arguments that pop up because of your disagreements will end in some hot passionate sex.

I married a liberal and I had warned her in advance that I was a right wing conservative. In less that a year she started to trust what I was saying and now she is as conservative as me.
