Probably because they would like to know as much as us - in other words they are crying out. Hey what is with the thumbs down over there ? I gave a quintessential answer (unless you think I am one of those). If I get a thumbs up to cancel out the thumbs down I will let it go this time but I am starting to get real loud !

So they are sure they will be heard & so they get the last word...oh yeah, and also so they can intimidate you into not questioning them and thier ridiculous ideas.
