Ask your rep.

It doesn't matter, your union won't do anything even if you are owed money. Teamsters is especially bad about caring. Unions actually worked once upon a time and served their members, but now they've grown useless and the people running them are corrupt and care more about the money. They rarely do any good for their members.

chances are that there are callback provisions in your contract that outline the circumstances in which you'd be able to come back to worth, or your union has made an agreement--either way there should be documentation. I'd be surprised if you'd get the back pay you're referring to, but your union local leaders should be able to answer all your questions. Good luck!

I'm laid off UAW, and if this happened our union reps would definitely hear about it, although I don't think they would let it happen. Read your contract book, you should have recall rights, 3 months isn't long enough for them to be bringing scabs in.

I don't get it - are you still working for the same company...

If so - maybe... ask your union rep.

If not, then you just got scabbed.... find a new Union job.
