You know where you should go to shop for stuff like that, the Ann Taylor loft! They have really professional looking things, but they are chic at the same time! As well as casual wear too! You can shop online also. But try to choose really functional peices. you want to be comfortable at school, so maybe choose outfits that you cant dress up with like a pair of shoes and accessories like earings and necklaces either on your way to work or when you get there! Hope this help!

first of all, every woman needs a nice jacket that defines the hips and creates an hour glass shape. spend a little more on the jacket, its worth it. then u should get a nice pair of pants, whatever kind u lik but the dress kind. get a nice shirt that has nice detailing enhancing whereever u want. (ie if u want to hide your stomach then buy a shirt with a line under the chest) an A line skirt is good too, preferably with some detailing at the bottom. jeans are fine as long as u don't OVER wear them. find a nice pair that fits reli well and is dark wash, as u'll look more pro.
try watching 'what not to wear' its a reli good show for u

Create you a color palette first.
Choose your basic colors. For instance, mine are black, pink, brown, and blue.
Concentrate on these four colors and which shade of each you like the most.
Then go out and but clothing, preferably mostly solids at first, in only these colors, including accessories.
Be patient, it takes time to build up a really good working wardrobe.
Also, get a book that describes what type of clothing is best for you body shape.

I think that you are lucky that it is fall because there is so much out there especially business attire. I would get some basic pieces that you can mix and match. A vest would be nice with a classic white shirt. A classic white shirt with a knee length skirt.

You could try wearing a nice top with a nice skirt. Good places to shop at would be casual corner(great for work), Newport Bridge, JcPenney, and the Ann taylor loft.

well tights are so in this year and so is the layered look, but for the sexy look try wearing a cute dress that best flatters your body, it is your choice but on tip to keep the sexy look try not putting on loose dresses
and for your shoes try some cute pumps you can never go wrong with pumps

During the day while your at college- I would suggest a dark wash pair of bootcut jeans or flare, whichever your preference. I would stay away from light wash jeans as they look tacky on most who aren't in highschool anymore. It does depend on the pair of jeans though so I'm not saying all light wash jeans will look tacky. Dark wash jeans will also make you appear thinner while light wash jeans will make your thighs appear larger. Also, be sure to stay clear from high-rise jeans as they just aren't flattering on anyone in my own opinion. I'm not saying you should go for a super low rise pair of jeans though, stick with a medium rise and make sure your jeans are fitted rather then baggy. Baggy jeans will just make you appear sloppy and as if you don't have the time to find a pair of jeans that actually fit nicely. With your dark wash fitted jeans you could pair it off with a cute tanktop with lace or something along those lines, pick out a colour which flatters your skintone well. Don't go for a navy blue tanktop though because it will blend in with your dark wash jeans.
Seeing as your just at college, if your planning on wearing heels I would stick with a kitten heel as it will be comfortable to walk around in. You could top this look off with a fitted blazer which will make you look like your dressing appropriate for your age yet you will still look fun and trendy.
As for when your at work, you could probably wear something along the lines as what I suggested for you to wear to college. Unless you have a work uniform or have to wear black pants to your part-time job. If no jeans are aloud at your job you could try a pinstripe black pair of trousers which would look gorgeous with a fitted white blazer and paired with a low heel.
As for wanting to look sexy at night, I would suggest a knee length black pencil skirt paired with a silk camisole with lace in your own choice of colour. If you go to http://www.bebe.com they have several cute camisoles/tanks. They also have plenty of knee-length skirts and I'm sure there should be at least one or two which you would like. Oh and because this is a night look, you could go with a higher heel rather then a kitten heel. That is- if your even comfortable or open to the idea of wearing highheels as I know many whom refuse to wear them! To make this look complete you can add in some accessories such as dangling gold earrings or anything you like basically. I hope I've helped you out some-what and sorry for this being so long. =]
