I know most adoptions require a married couple. Are their any exceptions to adoption for a single person?

There are many singles that are and can adopt, As long as you qualify as having a lovable home room safe place you are able to take care provide for the child and a back ground check I do not see why any single person can't adopt.If you are thinking of doing so WAY TO GO and Good Luck. You will make a WONDERFUL Parent. And Make some child HAPPY.

Many singles are able to adopt, it depends on the agency that you are with. Good luck, lots of kids need great homes!

much depends on the state, most allow singles to adopt, it is a long process though ...from rememberme4ever58@yahoo

There are many factors. The major factor is going to be your state's requirements.

yes there are lots of agencies that will work with single people as long as you have the money to hand over, you just have to shop around.good luck.
