how soon does the metal mouth symptom arise when ur expecting?

*lol* well sounds like you have confused a big protion of the yahoo answer commitee! I've had three pregnancies and only got "metal mouth" for the first two. I think for my oldest i was around the three month mark when it first came on - it does get easier to handle as time goes by. WIth my second child i think i was at seven months. I know it was in my last trimester. It does lessen off - or at least it did for me. As time went by i guess i just got use to it. With my third child i never did experience it. So i guess if your looking for an "exact" time - i can't give you one as each of us is different, each pregnancy is different and at any given time during a pregnancy hormones are way - way off centre! All i can say is congratulations!

What on Earth are you talking about I'm a mother AND I do not think I have had this, Never have I heard of this term/word. So unless there is another familiar term/word I would have to say no I did not have this symptom. SORRY

arly signs of pregnancy:
Spotting
Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Taste of metal in mouth
Frequent trips to the bathroom
These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs.

Sorry never heard of that symptom and I'm on Baby #2. Did you ask your doctor about it?

I've heard of that but it never happened to me.... just don't go round eating metal LOL!!!!! congratulations are in order

For me, it was the fifth month, but only with #3.
