why do we allow chavez to come into our country and badmouth our leader? weather we like our president or not, he is the leader of our country, and when he is badmouthed, it should be terribly insulting to us. chavez got a warm ovation after his speech at the united nations, made me sick. i suppose i would be considered a dictator because i felt like he should have been dragged into the back room and beaten a bit..where are all the patriots??

First off, if you want to come into my house and badmouth a member of my family, be my guest (no pun intended). It is the right of anyone to speak their opinion, and if you think my husband is a jerk, by all means - step up. But please don't be surprised if you end up bleeding on my carpet.

If Bush was so upset about the "badmouthing", he should say something. And truth be told - I don't think the guy was all that wrong. He didn't call "America" Satan - he called George W Bush that. I don't think he dislikes the United States as a whole - just this administration. And can one blame him??

Because the UN is a forum for all countries of the world. Unfortunately it is located in the US. Conversly would you insult a guest in you home? You probably would.

Just what we'd expect from the UN. They smile in your face and then back stab you.Worthless bunch.I think we ought to let GW kick Chavez's butt himself.I'd pay to see that.Heck I'd hold Chavez down for him,

I agree, what gives him the right to come into this country and tell us everything that's wrong with Bush, when his own country is full of problems; just hope he doesn't get chummy with Calderon. Mexico's Obredor loves this man's philosophies.

Please read this book that is if you can read "confessions of an economic hitman" by John Perkins. It talks about what the US Government did to his country during the 80ties and why he hates Americans
