a zebra is a black horse with white stripes acording to one legend, the dark stripes on animals such as zebras and tigers were created when the world was more populated by forests, where the shadows were on the animals, caused by the trees, that left their fur/skin black, while the sun lightened the rest to the colour they are today

Actually zebaras belong to the same family as horses do. But to answer your question, if you count the number of white stripes and the number of black stripes then you will know which one is greater. Thus suppose that the white stripes are greater then you can call a zebra, a white horse with black stripes. Simple. Now all you need is someone to count all the stripes of a zebra. Lol.

Since Chris B has taken the first point, I'll take the second: the base color of the zebra is white. There are some places on the zebra's body where the black stripes just fade out. If your zoo has zebras, I encourage you to take a look next time you go.

It is white with black stripes because the belly and the inside of the legs are white.

God created zebras....just like He created black horses and white horses. And no, He's definitely not fictional. I hope you realize that before it's too late.
