you're in luck kiddo, I'm a history nerd.

Yes, the boston tea party was a great idea that should have stuck.

1. the boston tea party was about much more than destroying "private property" The british gov passed a "tea act" that limited where Americans could buy tea from. this was brittian forcing their tea down the throats of Americans, even though it was cheaper than almost ALL other tea, it was still "taxation without representation" one of the building blocks of American history, and the foundation of our great nation.
2.The sons of Liberty, the group responsible had some of our fathers of the forming of America as a free nation. Samuel Adams, John Hancock and a few others would rebel against the king and start what would be the most powerful nation on earth, many nations follow our model of democracy now as a foundation for their very own
3. It not only sent a message to the king, it sent a message to the world about how far we would go for freedom, and what we were wil to do to get it. A message that has lasted for over 200 years
4. Without it, we would not have common day america, it was evey bit as important as Tomas Paines common sense, it emboldened the Americans to take a stand and form this awesome nation. Our founding father set in motion what would be one of the greatest challeges, and most rewarding wars for freedom. Americans are responsible for several inventions for the fact America was encouraging the poor to work up the ladder and make new gains. Many people migrated here from brittian just to get a patten on a product they made. history is full of grat american inventors, who have made the world a better place. without the boston tea party the brittish government may not have been so hostle, and a war may never have broke out, we could still be part of their country if not for that one night.

I hope this helps!!

I think it was a good ideal.

1. because It was wrong of the British to charge taxes on it.

2. Some people couldn't pay the high taxes

3. And importing taxes were high and a 3rd of the people paying them couldn't even buy the tea in the store.

4. And it was there RIGHT to do it.

I think this was a exception to destroying plps property. I mean destroying others plp stuff is wrong, but so is overcharging.
