my colored printer says pen failure. i bought black ink but still wont work do i have to buy colored ink too?

I HAVE AN HP 5850 DESKJET. WHAT IS PEN FAILURE? CAN THIS BE FIXED??!

You may want to go online and look for a printer head. This may be your problem, not the ink..

Not exactly sure what your error means. go to the website below and check on how you can reslove these errors
