Hines Ward

TO has more pure talent, but Hines Ward is a helluva lot better FOOTBALL player. Deion Branch hasn't earned his way into this class yet, and probably never will.

hines ward most definately. he has great character, makes plays, is the top blocking wr in the nfl, super bowl mvp, a TEAM player. those are my top 5 reasons that #86 is better.

If this question is in terms of talent, I'd say T.O. by FAR. Consistency would have to go to Ward. And Branch... ummm why are we talking about him again?

If you are asking who you should play, well T.O. is a little banged up right now. If you have him, I'd hold onto him as he will undoubtedly have a monster game at some point, and when he does look to trade him as soon as possible while his value is high and before he self-destructs.

Ward is the overall better player, due to his blocking ability.

If I need a first down, I'm going to Branch.

TO is the best talent-wise, but I would go with Ward over him anyway. Ward is more dependable and comes without the attitude.

oh how quick you guys forget that Deion Branch was a superbowl MVP also. deion branch is very good, but a new playbook, new qb, etc = lots of learning and obstacles.
