i come from a country where prostitution is legal in brothels (in most states) and i can tell you it does these things;
1, keeps our girls off the streets
2. is constantly checked and screened by the health department for STD's
3 pays its taxes and contributes to society
4. stops our girls being murdered on the streets
pot has be decriminalised, but since it cant be taxed )as you grow it yourself) they instead started "swab tests" with Drink driving tests, so they can hit you still with the on the spot fine.
Illicit drugs are illegal, however "shooting gallery's are available, so junkies can go into a clean, sanitised room to shoot up and this stops them leaving their filthy needles on the streets and beaches....medical staff and health inspectors monitor these rooms.
you'll never stop prostitution and drugs, and with the USA housing 86% of the worlds serial killers and AIDS on a major increase, shouldn't the US start considering this.

more taxes and a few new post secondary courses...
lower prices?
depends how they are made legal. Some drugs are legal in the US .
I DO NOT see how prostetution is an illegal activity, however I think people should exercise wisdom with who they sleep with. My gosh if you can get payed for giving someone a massage ala rub and tug.. why not using different body part to do it.. or sexual organs being massaged.. bid deal.
As for drugs... legalization of drugs means the pharmaceutal companies kick the bikers and other gangs buts.. except where prices go to high, is the benifit still there.. well it means the capacity to sue for bad drugs.. and some drugs are dangerous to use by default.
However all in all both legalizations will be a long term benifit not a penalty however, controls on drug use are what becomes the law. I.E you can only sell drugs if they are properly managed.. or you can only have sex if you pass that you don't have STD etc..
it would be good. for some people... as for "crime" personally think the more activities that are nott crimes and made safe for public use the better..
In a way though prostetution and drugs are not only acts but also culture and subcultured marketed at times.
If you can get a hottie to have sex with you without bribing them, can you tell me how?
Means likely that organized crime gets hit big time, and only professional bodies that control the sex and drug trade "publically and legally accountable" are there.
There would have to be laws such as if you have sex with a prostetute and the prostetute gets pregnant you do not have any trights to say what is done with the child, or vice versa if you get pregeneant whie having sex with the male prost. then he has no obligation to your child etc...
meanwhile with drugs OD lawsuits might become more common or even bad reactions schizoembalisms, seizures, brain dysfunctions etc.. like any other medicine.

I think prostitution should be legal. BUT...
But it needs to be a brothel or house and subject to state inspections. The women who work their must have an HIV test every 3 months (maybe every month) Condoms are a must. Plenty of security for the women. And if possible the men should be tested prior to service. It is morally wrong but people are going to do it so you may as well make it legal and make it safer for all involved. It would cut down on AIDS and the women would not get beat.

Prostitution IS legal in Nevada. I know this because I am a working prostitute here. The brothel is taxed just like any other business and I am taxed as an independent contractor. It hasn't had any negative effects on our area, and just so you all know, prostitutes are actual people! I know it's shocking but we're living breathing human beings who make a damn fine living, if I do say so myself.

Your pal is a moron. The Netherlands have a protracted historic previous of social tolerance. Prostitution has been authorized interior the Netherlands for some years. Prostitutes belong to unions and are field to government legislations and secure wellbeing and protection tests. All completely authorized and above-board. This maintains them from being abused, diseased, and crushed or killed. drugs like cannabis were quasi-authorized for extremely a mutually as as sturdy. you are able to desire to purchase and smoke dope in cafes and coffeehouses. This insurance maintains drug use under some control and, to a pair degree, defuses the applications for the varieties of drug wars that diverse international locations get exhilaration from. those concerns were quite authorized in the previous than gay marriage replaced into as quickly as legalized interior the Netherlands.

This would eliminate black markets. The violent crime surrounding the drug trade would disappear. The effect of making these things illegal is to make them more expensive, which further encourages gangs to fight and kill.
We'd have far fewer people in prison which would save the government a lot of money.
Additionally, drugs and prostitution could be regulated and taxed. The taxes could raise the prices to prohibition levels and fund treatment and prevention programs. We could force prostitutes to get HIV tests and get intravenous drug users to use clean needles. The effect of this would be to curb the spread of AIDS.
Alcohol used to be illegal, but it was found that alcohol prohibition caused more problems than it solved.

The war on drugs would be over, a lot less crime( no more competition for sales), a vast reduction of the spread of std's including HIV. But that isn't going to happen any time soon in the US. Drug addicts would get better, less dangerous drugs and maybe even get a clear mind and do something with their lives.

We would be b!tching about the high taxes on both of them.
That will be the only way they will become legal - if the government can find a way to profit from it and tax the hell out of it. So those that patron both can sleep easy tonight.

this country and the whole world would become more screwed up than ne1 thought would be possible, it would just make the world more secular and we would fall away from God even more and there would only be a handful of righteous people, and if that happened, you should be thankful God made a covenant with Noah to not wipe out the earth with a flood again, but if things got so bad, the end of the world would probably come sooner, and so many more people would go to hell and suffer in eternity, about 6billion of them as a matter of fact because only about 1.5 billion of the worlds around 7 billion population are christians
