I wonder if anybody has knowledge about gems. Can an amethyst stone be worn alongwith a ruby stone. I hear there may be a gem conflict at cerain gems as amethyst is a saturn stone and ruby is a sun stone? Is it possible to wear them together.

These father and son do not see eye to eye. Ruby - right hand ring finger and ame. in left long one for best results.

Amethyst and onyx are Capricorn stones and there for are also ruled by Saturn, capricorn is a feminine sign and a cardinal sign. Capricorns have competitive instincts as well as stubborness, but also have self discipline, frugality and self sacrifice traits.
Ruby is a Leo stone and is ruled by the sun. Leo is a masculine sign and a fixed sign. It's natural for Leo to be centre of attention, stubborn, loyal and a lot of pride are in Leo's traits.
The two gems have their similarities as far as horoscope is concerned, their opposite traits will compliment each other, both can be worn together.

Hey why not...? There isn't any sort of Rule about it as far as we all know of--never heard anything otherwise that goes against rubies & amethyst combined!

They are both completely inert and powerless. You can wear them together if they look good.
