What if I chose and was accepted to publish my writing and the publisher was denounced by "just" the audience I expected to buy by book.
Tried a few queries of my writing and found the career very difficult. So if I try again,
1. I want my book sold.
2. I want to be better informed on publisher's booklisting range and presentation.
3. I don't want to pay for lower "browser"; time to read and enjoy is too precise.

Well, their website is off the air. Presumably you have contact with this firm, so why not ask them the questions?

You talk about paying. There are two types of publishers - those who pay you for your material and those who will publish when you pay them - most writers lose money with the second type of publisher.

Good luck.
