Your body totally changes day to day and month to month.
The body is an incredibly amazing thing and it sounds like it is in a happy state....hence the reason for eating and no weight gain.
Sometimes its also mind over matter. How often are you thinking bout gaining weight when your so stressed bout what to eat?
Ive heard your body needs lots of food in order to speed metabolism up....like 3 meals and 3 snacks per day. Anyway...
girl just enjoy it. Carpe Diem!!!!!

Are you getting taller, are you more active, are you eating healthier? All of these things can affect you.
Just be careful, watch the scale, if you start gaining, cut back a bit on the eating or kick up the exercise.
By start gaining I mean relative to your height. Don't grow 5 inches and not gain anything. Keep track of your BMI and if you are muscular, ask your doc to check body fat and ignore the BMI.
My son's pediatrician told him one time he should lose 10 pounds. My son stopped eating to lose weight, we was a 10 year old jock. I took him back to the same doc and demanded he do a body fat analysis.... at his cost since he caused the problem. My son's body fat was at 8%. The doc apologized to him and told him to chow down.
Lesson - be careful what people tell you about your weight.

Eating a bunch of small meals several times a day is better for you and your metabolism than eating 3 large meals a day. My guess is that at 14 you are probably pretty active as well.

Probably because your metabolism has sped up or the foods you are eating play a big factor. If you are eating low fat food or low carbs then you wont gain as much weight as if you were eating high carb foods or a lot of sugary foods high in fat. Also the more you exercise the faster your metabolism works, and if you are taking any medication that can also effect your metabolism.

Once aging occurs (puberty), your body reacts differently. Metabolizing food also takes energy depending on what food products your consuming. Exercise helps as well!

Your metabolism can't have quickened---it's impossible if you're growing older.
Maybe you're having a hormone imbalance right now (since you're still in stages of puberty).
Metabolism is ALL the chemical processes taking place in your body. Or maybe you're just burning it off? =)

You might want to get your thyroid checked. It sounds like it was hypo and now it's hyper activated. Meanwhile enjoy eating as much as you want to without gaining any weight, lol.
