I think people are offended by it, because they struggle to survive, and some people have no value for life at all.

1. I can't judge why someone would do it, because I am ignorant of their circumstances.
2. Sometimes, people forget to let other people know how much they mean to them, and the suicidal person feels unwanted, or undervalued. It's kind and nice to tell friends, strangers and family worlds of support and encouragement. We all need it at times.
3. For some life is just too expensive and they can't afford to live anymore. The government cuts back on so much, that they give up. Cost of living only rises.
4. I wish they wouldn't, though.
Good luck and warm wishes.

I have had love ones fight tooth and nail to live just t lose to cancer or some other terminal disease. Life, whether God given or not, is too precious. How dare someone choose to take there life when so many others would give almost anything to live. Nothing i so serious that it cannot be solved. Suicide is nothing more than throwing in the towel, a ******* way out.

I think it breaks the hearts of the people that love the deceased. Yeah, some times it's an selfish act, some times it's a cowardish act, but there are other reasons for people to choose to end their lives, and the reasons can be neither selfish nor cowardish.

Well to me it's because once your life is over there's no chance to go back. If you have terrible problems right now there may be a chance to work it out, and then you could live the rest of your life. But if you get so depressed you kill yourself then you'd never know if you could have had a long and happy life after the problem was worked out. I know if something happened to my b/f I would want to kill myself, but it's important to wait and think it over carefully. Once you're dead there's no turning back.

People think it is a cowardly way out. It is also selfish toward all your family and friends if you have any. That could cause them sufferage.

Because this is a a decision made while in depression or while in a problematic state of mind. He/She is not in a stable state of mind and thus may bring harm to him/herself while in this 'state of mind' which is not their normal state of mind or thought.

I guess you can be forgiven of any sin you can ask forgiveness for. Unfornutally, once you are dead you cannot ask forgiveness.
Anyway, whats so good about it?
