I was in homeroom one day and happened to look at the new boy in class. Oh man...he was a Paul McCartney look alike! I was always a sucker for those sleepy-looking eyes of Paul! As soon as homeroom was over, I found my best friend, Sue and her boyfriend Johnny. I told them about this cute boy. Sue told me to come with them to the dance that night and ask him out. I told her I had nothing to wear. Sue told me to put on my high heeled sneakers. Johnny said I would look good wearing nothing at all. Sue gave him a dirty look and said "Johnny, be good." I was so nervous about asking this boy out because usually I went out with bad boys...bad boys whom my parents couldn't stand! But I waited until school was over and decided to pass this boy's house while I was walking my dog, Beethoven. He was outside and said how cool my dog was. Trying to impress him, I said "Watch this" and then said "Roll over Beethoven!" Beethoven immediately rolled over and over and over again. That made my boy laugh and then the next thing I knew, HE was asking ME to go to the dance that night! Isn't it great how things work out?

My cousin Joey Ractorn was an amazing plastic surgeon. I mean, the man could make Lizah Manelli and Paul McCartney look alike if they'd lay down and let him do it. And he was ever so persuasive. He could tell you to put on your high heeled sneakers, lay down in the dirt, and howl at the moon like a coyote, and man, you'd do it. Back in the old college days, we used to roll together during the summers. We'd been in the same homeroom in high school, and somehow it just seemed like we would never mature. At least, we tried not to. But eventually, we succumbed to the urge and dove into adulthood, head first. We idolized the bad boys, bad boys got to hang around the bad girls, and the bad girls were very open-minded. Never forget that day back in '97, when we were driving down the dirty country road, freebasing crystal meth and listening to our parents' old music. I always wonder how much he thinks back to those days while he's cutting people's faces apart with a cold scalpel. Watching our little cousin Johnny be good, getting good grades and eventually going to Yale while our family adorned him with love. But we were in the worst boat. We wanted to be bad boys, so to the family, we were. To the real bad boys, though, we were just wanna-be's who weren't hardcore enough to go for the big time. And they were both right. We were bad in a bad way, not in an admirable way. But it all worked out in the end.

My Grandad was a Paul McCartney look alike but he wasnt as quite as Paul and was quite the rebel in High School, his real name was Johnny by the way, one night him and some guys from his homeroom decided to paint the town red and they were so noisy all the girls from the local catholic school scourned and scoffed at them for being so common "bad boys bad boys" they screamed at the fellas all out just to have fun - "ahh stop now being such goody two shoes all of you - your just pretending - why dont you put on your high heeled sneakers and come join us for a night of fun lurving" - one of the girls stopped silent and you could see she was thinking about it and was about to be so easily led but she stopped herself, smiled and purred at him "Johnny be good because you would be sorry for messing with a hot girl like me".
