Well having been raped as a young woman, I do have a fear and mis trust of the opposite sex. Not Funny!
But as to a real phobia, NEVER, NO, NEVER, put me in a small space where I cannot move my arms or feel fresh air on my face!

I actually don't suffer from any common phobia. There are weird things that bother me, like people touching my wrists, and people talking about the circulatory system(veins, arteries, etc.). I'd say the most commonphobia I know of though is claustraphobia(small spaces). Good luck with the report!

I have a fear of heights.
Common phobias: arachnophobia (fear of spiders)
agoraphobia (fear of open spaces)
That's all I can remember for now. Interesting topic. You can find more phobias in the glossary in the back of your psychology textbook.

Fear of complete darkness. Since I was little I always had to sleep in a room with a night light.

Spiders, spider webs, angry people, xenophobes, apple peels stuck in my teeth in public. Anything else I think I can train myself not to be as afraid. Have had some success with some major fears already.

Fear of heights, acrophobia. Xenophobia, fear of strangers. Fear of closed spaces, claustrophobia. That's all I could think of right now.
