my turtle hide for two days and when we found her she was missing two of her back leg nails so i was wondering if that is fine and if that isn't what should i do? thank you

no its not ok i would take him to a vet. turtles should never lose there nails. if you have more than 1 they may be fighting.

my turtle is 36 y/o and this has never happened. He's got very long nails and sometimes they get caught on the carpet but never a problem. I would check it out.

i would generally say no because turtles can get calcium defficiency and so if they get their nails caught in anything well that can happen. it'll be ok but just take her to the vet to check things out.

it doesn't sound like it's a good thing. I would take the turtle to the doctor.

No,this is not ok.I would call the vet. and see if there is anything u can or should do about it.I have two turtles and this has never happened before.

No big deal. Just watch for signs of bleeding, infection, etc.- swelling, discharges, blood, red streaks, etc.
