During our discussions, I regularly find my friend will accidentally twist my words so my opiniuns match hers, then compliement me on my judgement; once this has happened I don't feel I can explain what I actually meant. I don't really this happening, as I often disagree with her, but I don't want to make a big deal by confronting her, so what should I say next time this happens?
Thanks for any help!

well, however you look at this, and whether you want to confront her or not you have to, because if you don't the same will keep happening. summon your courage, and just talk to her. you are friends and she should understand. it will be better for your friendship.

You say that your friend is doing this accidently so maybe she doesn't realise she is doing it? Why don't you just say something like, "it's no big deal but that's not actually what I meant, but thank you for the compliment. I was trying to say ..." and then explain. That way you are being honest and explaining without being judgemental or nasty. If she's a good friend, she'll understand and good luck. You're obviously very caring and a good friend to them.

Don't discuss your opinions with such a friend .I would term your friend as energy sucker wasting yor as well her precious time.
It is important to have friends in quality rather than quantity.

she may not realise she is doing this or she may think that she needs other people to agree with her opinions because she dosen't think that they are good enough opinions. Speak to her and explain its ok that people differ in opinions, doesnt make us bad or good.

Be honest. If something annoys you about any of your friends, tell them. None of us are perfect but if we are true friends then we accept recognition of faults as well as acceptances.
