it is a toss up between 3 superstars. 1)Mick Foley is always at the top 3 spots in this catgeroy, 2)Crash Holly, God Rest His Poor Soul. he started the 24/7 defense of the title, and last but not least 3)Hardcore Bob Holly was also one of the great hardcore champs. I honestly think they should bring back that and the European titles to the wwe.

I agree with Hopester. The best Hardcore champion was Crash Holly who started the 24-7 rule during his reign and was the most decorated and fighting hard caore champ in the history of the belt. Mick Folay may have been a better hard core wrestler but not the best champion. In fact he NEVER won that title. Vince McMahon gave it to him and it began its legacy. Big Boss Man soon won it from him and throughout the entirehistory of the belt he never regained the title. Although Vince gave it to him as a gift years after it was retired and then I believe just recently he and Edgetried defending it again or something. Anyhow Crash Holly, Al Snow, and Raven all held the belt on several occasions and defended it well. Crash though made the belt what it was.
