If it is going to protect the friend from true harm and not hurt you no.
If it is going to allow the friend to get away with something or
If it is going to cause you harm or
If it is going to cause someone else harm. Yes!
In most case do what you can and get others to help.

For what I know about friendship nowadays, I would never put myself in that position. True friendships are hard to find and sometimes you would think that if you were in the same situation your friend would do the same for you but you'd be sadly mistaken..........they'll sell you out in a heart beat. So my answer is Yes, it is crazy to take a hit for a friend.

NO! it is CRAZY i almost got KILLED b/c i was trying to be a good friend. try to keep some1 out of jail and get jumped and the mothre lied and twisted everything on me. so unless u r sure that, tha person will do the same 4 u do it for them no even tho, some how it will come back and bite u in da *ss
