Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If physical appearance was all he was interested in he would not have been the deep person he was. It was her art that initially attracted him to her and he saw something that apparently few people did. We all are a bit blind when it comes to love but I believe at the time he saw her as his soul mate. Down the road and using hindsite perhaps he indeed was a little hasty but as a celebrity sincerity is almost impossible to find. In Yoko I think he had found some.

Well he actually did it, my friend... he was first married with Cynthia Powell.
But I agree that the look isn't all in a relationship; maybe Ono was hell of a lover. Even I would like to try it with a japanese girl, but with one (or two) that looks like Ami or Yumi... je je je.
