Where I live in Kentucky, you have to be 17 or accompanied by an adult.
Okay, yeah I just checked for sure. I pulled this right off the Cinemark website:
Note: No Children Under Age 6 Will Be Admitted To Any R-Rated Feature After 6:00 PM. Valid IDs will be required to attend Rated ""R"" movies. You must be at least 17 years of age or have your parent accompany you to view the movie. IDs will be checked at the theatre.

When I was in high school you had to be 17 to get into an R-rated movie. I hadn't heard that that had changed.

In Australia it is 18, it could be different where u live. Just ring the theatre and ask, at least then you will know 4 sure. And remember to take some I.D. with you. Hope that helps!!
