Yeah, I own an Accounting for Dummies book. I didn't major in business in college, and just wanted a general overview of accounting terms and procedures.

Nope, not a one. My hubby saw I was far smarter than I thought I was and here are some examples.....
1. Our first VCR was an Emerson with corded remote, we brought it home, he sat it on the TV, took the instructions and told ME to set it up, I did AND set the clock too!
2. One Night we had a flat tire and he let me change it so I'd know how if I ever got a flat while driving alone. (Several MEN stopped and offered to help me, and cursed my husband for "Being So Mean" to me!)
3. We like older cars and still own older cars, while I could still drive hubby taught me to use a knee-high OR part of a pair of pantyhose as a temp fan or AC belt until I could get to a service station, he also taught me how to bleed the brakes, change the oil and other helpful things for a woman who used to drive a lot alone.
4. When they stopped making full sized Word Processors (I'm a writer) I never thought I could learn to use a computer. My hubby bought a homemade one that used windows 3.1, brought it home, set it up, and with no books, no one to ask, I sat and figured it out! Less that a week later he bought my first new PC, a GATEWAY with windows 98, today I'm still teaching HIM how to use his PC! (And I now have an HP with windows XP Pro.)
