i have bearshare where you can download mp3 but instead of me buying itunes can i tranfer mp3 on my ipod nano

O.K. itunes is a web site that you can go to and buy music to load onto your ipod (at the tune of .99 per song). But you can rip your own CD collection to it also using the provided software. It would be wise if you loaded your songs onto it using the WMA format instead of Mp3 format, you'll get more music onto the ipod if you do. WMA does not sacrifice any sound quality.

The ipod nano comes with itunes which can be used to down load your own music like CD's and mp3's. it is also compatable with windows and macs.

No, Apple has mad a speical kind of music files, you must first burn all your MP3's to a CD, then upload them to your iTunes. It comes with the nano, and any iPod.
