Well here's a list of really good priceless rock songs I think you people who haven't heard before and that's probably why you think metallica sucks. Their new stuff is crap indeed but their older songs are really good. Keep in mind that these songs are so good that they are still playing it after TWENTY YEARS!! Who else does that? Anyways... heres the list

Jump in the fire
Search and destroy
Harvestor of sorrow
Creeping Death
Fade to black
Master of puppets
Enter Sandman
For Whom the Bell tolls
Leper Messiah
King Nothing
Wherever I may roam
Ride the lightning
Holier than thou
Battery
Disposable heros
Saniturium
....ugh there's at least 15 more lol. the last one i can think of is sad but true...IM YOUR DREAM MAKE YA REAL!!
If you can get your hands on a couple of these songs then have an open mind and listen ot some of those songs and I will guarantee you will be converted from gayazz crap like rap/hip hop to a join the army of metal militia!!!! HAHAHAH =D

By the way I dont hate rap/hip hop because I like rock. I hate it because it requires no talent. They use computers to do all the work for them. Pressing a couple of buttons in a studio...pffffft. Try and play the guitar you morons. It will be the hardest thing those people will ever do in their lives.

From 1984 to 1992 Metallica were among the 3 best (behind Iron Maiden and Yngwie Malmsteen). But nowdays cant create music like then.

yea you are right... all the songs you named really ruled... i still have my cassette tapes from back in the day.

metallica sold out somewhat i think.. they opened a new door with their music for others to follow and somewhere along the way the little changes that were made i guess by agents, producers etc. ..... when it becomes more about the mighty dollar other than the love of music.. it seems that most bands go a little off course... but they are still great....

i have lots of memories of riding around in my 83 camaro and cruising listening to metallica cranked up so loud.

Jodie Foster & Rory Emerald love James from Metallica. All 3 of them were at a party in San Francisco just last week-end.

Magnificent question!

I liked everything before the St. Anger album. St Anger was just flat for me. Not good.

Alright. No hatred here. But, hip-hop does take skill. It's not just buttons and switches. Have you ever tried to rap? You most likely just sound funny so no one takes you serious. You have to have a certain style, to actually be able to rap right. This takes skill to learn. In my opinion, it takes more skill than playing the guitar. For the guitar, you learn some chords and you can play songs. For rapping, you have to know how to put all kinds of words together, they might not even rhyme or sound good but you have to make them sound good. Now, I'm not saying guitar doesn't take skill, you have to know where to put your fingers, what time to play the note and plenty of other things that I can't do at all. Go try to rap though, use all the switches and buttons you want, it's not going to sound good with no style.
