Let me fill all of you in on what could be considered one of the best kept secrets in the US today. Yes, it is true that the African-Americans are an endangered species. Several factors are contributing to this a)blonde white women, b)hunting rifles with sniper scopes sold at Wal-Marts, c) HIV
Truth be told, I have yet to see a genuine African-American, and what exactly is that? Does that mean you just came off the boat from Tangiers and are now working in Illinois? It is a clever appellation to those who want to still believe in a time when white men lived in big colonial homes surrounded by cotton fields.

I don't consider them an "endangered species" (especially when we're all technically of the same species). I know there are still Africans who immigrate to the United States (though not many), and even though many African Americans today have mixed heritage, a lot of them still recognize themselves as having African American culture and heritage.

Because many have bred with whites. True "black" folks are hard to find in America. There used to be many in New Orleans, but now many of them are spread throughout the nation. Without more true blacks to breed with, they will be further diluted.
True black people are very unique and have a strong heritage.
