If you decide to visit Colombus, you must visit the Easton Town Center. It is a truly massive shopping/restaurant/entertainment complex.

I am in Columbus for school right now at The Ohio State University. Some places that are nice to visit include North Market, Easton Market, Polaris Shopping center, Short North, The Columbus Zoo (Jack Hanna is from this zoo), The German Village, The Columbus Museum (though I like Toledo's better), and the campus of OSU. I like the "arts" culture here. There is also a great deal of diversity and it is very easy for everyone to find a niche. I don't however like the drivers(though I have encountered worse in new England areas and Memphis), the urban sprawl, and the fact that there is no "bad area", but rather bad areas all over the place as far as crime and theft occurrences are concerned.
Also it is the home of Wendy's, Whitecastle, and houses the coperate offices of Bob Evans. they say that if a restaurant can make it in the Columbus market they can make it anywhere.

I particularly don't care for that city. I tried to share a lane with a PT Cruiser and I was in Kenworth. I won the battle but lost the fight...$179.00 ticket and a mark on the company driving record. Right where I 70 and I270 come together. I had to merge on and that ignorant woman would not let me on! And I get goose bumps every time we go thru there, yet!

check out easton. also the short north and arena districts which are downtown. lots of cafes, clubs etc. i go to visit family every year. it's actually a lot better than i expected, but i don't know that i would go there specifically for a vacation
