I love to to this site Mary Kay . Com... click on "Virtual Make-Over" this will show you what colors look right for you skin and eye color... From that I always go to Walmart and find the colors that match what that said (cheaper than buy Mary Kay make-up). It also gives you tips on how to apply it correctly!

****'Cool' eye colors, such as green, blue, or hazel, stand out more with 'warm' eye shadow. Contrast is what will make the colors of the eye stand out.
Warm eye shadows are browns, golds, coppers, (violet is good too, and will bring out the green of hazel eyes) etc.
*****'Warm' eye colors, such as brown, and amber, stand out more with 'cool' eye shadows such as greens and blues, peach, etc.
*****Always go with what you feel most comfortable with, but if you are looking to make your eyes stand out, and not your eyeshadow (you want people to notice your beautiful eyes, not your eyeshadow) then go with a contrasting eyeshadow to your eyecolor.
*****Also, you lose the beauty of your own eye color when you put eye shadow on that is the same color as your eyes. For example: green eye shadow, and green eyeliner on green eyes will 'wash out' your eyecolor, and people will mainly see your eye make -up coming toward them.
****Have fun with it and experiment, have a friend take pics of your different 'looks', and compare.
