It's unlikely that your OS is deleted. You probably have a bad boot.ini or NTLDR file.
Use the OS's disc to run a repair installation, that'll fix any corrupted/missing files.

Check to see if you have a floppy disk with a bootstrap on it. If it does then remove. If that does not help, you might have to reinstall your operating system all over again. Be prepared to take a few hours because you have to reinstall all your drivers for your monitor and other peripherals you have.

i dont think it is possible to restore a deleted OS if you have reformated your drive. but you can try running system restore on your windows installer disc. or you can reinstall your windows and recover your deleted files. you can find alot of free file recovery softwares in the net. try looking at tucows.com,download.com or softpedia.com... hope it helped you...

there are choices after the reboot in which you can pick one from it , But if it does not work, i think you have to install it again. You might have just deleted all of the files needed in booting your system.
