Takes us about 1 3/4 hours. 295 to 146 to 90 (toll road). Do not take rt 20 from 146... it will take you hours and hours. Depending on when you are going Brimfield has an Antique sale 3 times a year May July September (they come as far as Germany). On 146 towards rt 90 there are MA State Troopers waiting to give you a ticket.

It is cheaper to fly into Providence (PVD) airport then Logan(BOS) usually. But compare this to Hartford.

About 100 miles. You should be able to do it in about an hour and a half give-or-take.

BEST ROUTE: I-295 to Route 146 North to I-90 West. You'll rarely hit much traffic on this route, even during rush hour.

If you are flying in, you might want to consider Bradley Airport (BDL), which is about halfway between Hartford and Springfield - only about 30 minutes.

About an hour and a half, maybe a little bit longer, depending if there is traffic on the Mass Pike. Hopefully you won't have to do it during rush hour!
