Fraction 5/10
Divide 10 into 5. Add .0 to the 5
10 into 5.0=0.5 or 0.50=50%
5=50% of 10 or 1/2 of 10.

5/10=1/2 of 10.

4/10 is done the same way.
Divide 10 into 4.0
(add more zeros when a remainder is left)

Example: 3/4 = x/100

Cross multiply. 4x = 300; x = 300/4 = 75. So 3/4 = 75%

Just set the fraction equal to x/100 and cross multiply.
